What is the Color Fun Run?
The Color Fun Run is the PTO's main fundraiser of the year, helping fund all the great things we do for CSPES students, staff, and families throughout the school year!
Students will run around the school building at whatever pace they want — run, jog, walk, dance, or mix it up!
We are NOT counting laps, and fundraising is not based on how far or how many laps a student completes. The Fun Run is simply a fun way to get moving, have fun with classmates, and celebrate our school community and PTO fundraiser together!

💻 Set up your student’s fundraising page and start sharing it with family and friends.
👕 Optional: Order a $6 Fun Run T-shirt by Friday, September 11 at noon.

🌈 Optional: Students can wear the color of the day during Color Spirit Week.

What should my student wear?
What should my student wear?
Students have the option to wear:
Their Fun Run T-shirt, if they purchased one, OR
Any shirt they don’t mind getting a little colorful! (The color powder usually washes out, but there’s always a chance some color may remain.)
Students may wear any shorts, pants, and shoes that are comfortable for moving and playing.
Does my student have to participate in the color powder?

No! Color powder is completely optional.
Color powder will not be thrown at students who are wearing their school uniform or who choose to avoid the powder.
We’ll also have shower caps available for students who want to participate in the color fun but don’t want powder in their hair.

Where is the Fun Run?
Where is the Fun Run?
The Fun Run will take place at CSPES during the school day, with students running around the school building with their grade. Parents and caregivers are invited to come cheer on their Tigers! If you want to attend, you must RSVP by September 30 at 3:00 PM and have your ID scanned by the school ahead of time. This requirement also applies to volunteers. (RSVP link coming soon)

Money raised through the Color Fun Run helps the PTO:
Bring CSPES families together through school events
Fund classroom resources, student activities, and campus improvements beyond the district budget
Celebrate our amazing teachers and staff
Connect students with inspiring role models and experiences

How does fundraising work?

Students ask family, friends, and community members to support CSPES with a tax-deductible donation through their personal fundraising page.
Donations are made directly to support the CSPES PTO — they are not pledges based on laps, distance, or how much a student runs.
Students can simply enjoy the Fun Run at their own pace while helping us celebrate a successful fundraiser together!
