What should my student wear?

Students have the option to  wear:

• Their Fun Run T-shirt, if they purchased one, OR

• Any shirt they don’t mind getting a little colorful! (The color powder usually washes out, but there’s always a chance some color may remain.)

• Students may wear any shorts, pants, and shoes that are comfortable for moving and playing.

Does my student have to participate in the color powder?

No! Color powder is completely optional.

Color powder will not be thrown at students who are wearing their school uniform or who choose to avoid the powder.

If you want to attend, you must sign up to volunteer (by Thursday, October 1 at 10am) and have your ID scanned by the school ahead of time.

Why are we fundraising?

Money raised through the Color Fun Run helps the PTO:

• Bring CSPES families together through school events

• Fund classroom resources, student activities, and campus improvements beyond the district budget

• Celebrate our amazing teachers and staff

• Connect students with inspiring role models and experiences

Check out more about WHY we fundraise, and all the things our PTO accomplished last year!

How does fundraising work?

Students ask family, friends, and community members to support CSPES with a tax-deductible donation through their personal fundraising page.

Donations are made directly to support the CSPES PTO — they are not pledges based on laps, distance, or how much a student runs.

Students can simply enjoy the Fun Run at their own pace while helping us celebrate a successful fundraiser together!

Company Matches Count Toward Color Run Earnings!

Does your employer match donations? Your company match can be credited to your child’s Color Run total!

Simply send us the match confirmation showing CSPES PTO, the amount, and submission date, along with your child’s name and teacher. The confirmation must be submitted by Oct 1 (even if funds are not yet received) to count towards rankings and prizes like the other donations.

Have multiple children? Just let us know how you’d like the match split!
