About the Color Fun Run

What should my student wear on race day?
Wear the white Fun Run t-shirt (if you already purchased it), another white shirt, or any other shirt they don't mind getting a little messy! (The colored powder usually washes out, but there's a chance some will remain.) Students can wear any shorts/pants/shoes.

Is the colored powder required?
Colored powder will NOT be thrown at students who are in uniform, or students who opt to avoid it.

When?

Color Spirit Week will kick off Monday, September 29 through Friday, October 3: Fun Run Day! 

Run Times:

• 08:10 - 08:50: 4th and 5th grade

• 09:05 - 09:45: 1st grade

• 10:00 - 10:40: 2nd grade

• 11:00 - 11:40: Kindergarten

• 11:45 - 12:15: Pre-K

• 12:20 - 1:00: 3rd Grade

• 1:05 - 1:45: 6th Grade

Where?

The run will be during the school day at CSPES. 

(Parents/Caregivers are invited to attend, but must RSVP. Your RSVP must be completed by September 30 at 3pm, and you must have ID scanned ahead of time. Volunteers must also RSVP. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS.)

Why?

The PTO is raising funds to support school-wide needs including:

• Host events that bring families together

• Fund classroom resources, student activities, and campus improvements beyond district budgets

• Celebrate teachers and staff through appreciation initiatives

• Build bridges between students and role models who reflect their brilliance

How?

Students will raise funds by asking family, friends, and community partners to contribute a tax-deductible donation. If each CSPES Tiger raises just $50 in donations, we would crush our $27,000 goal and earn over $30,000 to support CSPES!
